Ponlop Rinpoche gives teaching on Pharchin Chu , also known as the Ten Paramitas or the Ten Perfections. These constitute the backbone of the Buddha’s teachings. Each of us has within us the seed of Buddha nature (the potential to become a Buddha capable of leading others to enlightenment) waiting to germinate and bear fruit. The Pharchin Chu constitute the fertiliser which enriches the soil in which the seed is sown – thus nourishing it to grow into a strong tree capable of offering refuge or shelter to other life forms.

Rinpoche will explore and explain each of the Pharchin Chu - thus showing us where to derive nutriment for our ownseeds and pointing us in the direction of the ‘other shore’ of enlightenment however, if we wish to cross over to that shore, it is not enough to simply stand and contemplate it from a distance. We need to transport ourselves there. Through these teachings Rinpoche will be providing us with the boat and the oars. It is then up to us to board it, pick up the oars and row, since nothing is achieved without effort and it is through seizing opportunities to practice in our everyday life that we nourish the seeds of our Buddha nature to reach our goal.
