Firstly, Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud is one of the Dzogchen teaching streams in Yungdrung Bon, which was imparted by Trulku
Tapi-Hritsa to Gu-rup Trul-ku Nang-zher Lod-po. Within this Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud Dzogchen, the principal Yidam (Deity)
is called Zhang Zhung Meri.

Dear all, Om Matri Muye Sale Dhu!
Keeping fingers crossed that all of you including your families and friends are keeping very well.
This is to let you all know that the 2025 international Annual Yar-Tsham (Summer Retreat) concluded successfully
as always envisaged!
All the retreatants routinely got up at 5am and engaged in their daily prescribed Nyamlen. Around 8am, a relaxed vegetarian
breakfast was served.
Around 9am, the Drubdra-was lead by the Umzey, received their Lama, after performing Kyab-dro and Chhak, which is very
important and then everyone resumed their allocated seats.
From there on DZOGCHEN teachings based on Zhang Zhung NyenGyud Ka-gyud Korzhi and Aa-Trid Thun-tsham Chö-Nga were taught
each day with essential Q&A enriched with appropriate Men-Ngak by Rinpoche, without which no one knows what is Inside
these teachings, rather than them remaining an unpacked philosophical shallow dogma.
This year, in the beginning, for 8 days, every Drubdrawa was put under strict disciplined and authentic Levels of Zhiney
Nyamlen practice, aiming to gain a stabilised Nyam-Zhak.
Without levels of Zhi-ney training, so called meditation is not Nyam-Zhak meditation, rather than “new age relaxation”
And without authentic Nyamzhak meditation, one cannot engage in Tantra based Nyam-zhak, let alone DZOGCHEN’s Sem Machö Pa
Throughout the 15 days Yar-tsham, each and every one has Humbly observed the Yar-Tsham’s meaningful discipline protocol,
unlike social-gathering-like retreats!

The topic of the Yartsham 2025 was
Practical Zhiney and DZOGCHHEN teachings (rather than philosophical
Dzogchen) based on Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud and Aa-trid!
Dates were from 29th Aug to 12th Sept 25, at Kusoom Ling Gonpa
This Wednesday 18th June 2025, the Drubdra will be doing LAMAI NELJOR and Yongzin Rinpoche’s Sol-Dheb, in Honour of
His Eminence Yongzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche. This is done to receive his Wang-Zhi Empowerment.
I advise everyone, as instructed last week, to do these Nyamlen at home continuously too.
In our Gonpa, CHHOD-PA NAM-NGA offerings are being offered continuously.

His Holiness 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche requested that the Teaching of Bon Khor Tshig Zhi should still go ahead as
planned and expressly requested Khyimsar Lama to lead and give the Bon Khor Tshig Zhi on his behalf.
We are therefore delighted to confirm that the Teaching (on 21st and 22nd June) will go ahead, as per

This is to let each of you know that the proposed second time visit of
His Holiness 34th Menri Trizin Rinpoche, the Supreme Head of Yungdrung Bon Buddhism, to the TYBSC is now changed,
due to the news about our beloved His Eminence Yongzin Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche
The event will instead be led by Khyimsar Rinpoche on the request of His Holiness, and dates are Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd June 2025
During the weekend, Khyimsar Rinpoche will give an in depth teaching on
“BON KHOR TSHIG ZHI”

Rinpoche was born in 1962 in the Dolpo region of Nepal. In Dolpo, Rinpoche completed his 3 Year, 3 months and 3 days retreat.
In 1979, Ponlob Rinpoche arrived at Menri Monastery in India (the main Bonpo monastery for Tibet as well as for the exile
community of India) and was ordained by H.H. the 33rd Menri Trizin and H.E. Yongzin Rinpoche. His studies focused on Sutra,
Tantra and Dzogchen as well as Ritual, Grammar, Poetry, Astrology, Divination, Medicine, Thangka painting, Mandalas and
Stupas. Ponlob obtained his Geshe Degree (Doctorate) from the Bon Dialectic School in 1989. In 1992, His Holiness Menri
Trizin and Yongzin Namdak Rinpoche honoured Ponlob Rinpoche by giving him the title of Ponlob Rinpoche succeeding
Ponlob Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche. It is the second most revered position in Menri Monastery. He is actively teaching
and responsible in training the students at Menri Monastery (both Shedra and Drubdra-Meditation school).
What is Zhang Zhung Meri Wang?
The complete cycle of Zhang Zhung Nyen-gyud Dzogchen consists of “Ka-gyud Kor-zhi” (The four precept treatise cycles:
Chhi-outer, Nang-inner, Sang-wa-secret and Yang-sang-further secret) and was orally transmitted by Trul-ku Tapi Hri-tsa
or Tapi Raza in Zhang Zhung to Gu-roup Trul-ku Nang-zher Lod-po. Trul-ku Nang-zher Lod-po later put them down into writing
for the benefit of future generations. However, Dru-chhen Gyal-wa Yungdrung, a pioneer lineage holder of the Dru lineage
of our time, has compiled a practice manual of the teaching known as “Nyam-gyud Gyal-wai Chhak-trid”, also called
Dru Gyal-wai Chhak-trid.
To engage in the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud Dzogchen teaching course taught by Lama Khemsar Rinpoche, it is absolutely necessary
to receive the Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud Menri Wang from a prominent Lama, such as Ponlob Trinley Nyima Rinpoche.
Ponlob Rinpoche will be assisted by Lama Yungdrung Thinley, Lama Khemsar Rinpoche and Tsa Tsha Lama.
The dates of the Wang were:
Friday 24 January 2025: Preparation and TSHOG offering by the Drubdra-was.
Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of January 2025: 2 days Wang - Empowerment
It is strongly suggested to attend so as to receive the Wang, particularly as this is an Initial Requirement for the
Zhang Zhung Nyen-gyud Dzogchen course.
TYBSC has finally acquired a suitable house directly in front of the existing Gompa.
This forms the long awaited Retreat Centre. All other properties that we searched and found in different parts of the UK had to be
abandoned due to various financial issues and change of use regulation problems etc. The Retreat Centre in New Barnet,
Greater London now serves for both residential and non-residential retreats all year round. The house will also serve
to host visiting Lamas.

The International Yartsham (Summer Retreat) has been successfully conducted under the unwavering care and guidance of the
Drubdra Master without any hindrances.
The main topic was Dzogchen teaching and practices mainly based on Zhang Zhung Nyen Gyud Ka Gyud Kor Zhi.
Every Drubdra-wa/Drubdra-ma has co-operated sincerely with the Master.
The yearly Yartsham is absolutely necessary for Drubdra Nyamlen practitioners to Recharge, Reconcile, Reconnect and
Understand every aspect of the teachings and Practice every day whilst hearing the Lama’s Men-ngak Rinpoche like a
constant flowing river to nourish everyone’s Nyamlen to Enhance !!!
Without regular Lama’s Men Ngak, all one receives remains intellectual. Nothing other than ignorance!!!
A number of international students have made an effort to attend the YAR-TSHAM.
This way, continuing the Dzogchen course on Zoom makes it much more Valid then..
Note: Those of you who had the great fortune to attend the Yartsham should continue your formal
as well as your informal Nyamlen, under the umbrella of Thö, Sam, Gom Soom, to maintain the
Yartsham Spirit high, without ignorantly brushing it aside by getting totally distracted
by never ending Dhak Zin Mind !!!

49 Days MUN TSHAM performed by Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche
At TYBSC’s Kusoom Ling Drubdra, for the First Time, the 49 Days MUN TSHAM (Dark Retreat) has been successfully performed.
The MUN TSHAM was performed by Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche, assisted by Drubdra Khenpo Rinpoche.
Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche remarked that the 49 days MUN TSHAM this time was performed with three purposes in Mind:
1: It was performed for his own Dzogchen’s Nyamlen.
2: It was performed to Show the Practical Example for all Nyamlen Pa/Ma
3: It was performed formally to inaugurate the MUN KHANG (The Dark Retreat Room) which was purposefully built 9 years ago.
The MUN KHANG is now ready for Those Dzogchen Nyamlen Pa/Ma Who full-fill the necessary requirements to be eligible
to enrol and receive the Specific 49 days or 7 weeks Men Ngak instructions to do the MUN-TSHAM accordingly etc.

Ku-soom Ling Drubdra International will not hold the Yearly Yartsham (Summer residential retreat) as we did in the past, until further notice.
This is due to the continuing international COVID situation and for health safety precaution.
The Yearly Yartsham and non-residential retreats will be resumed when the situation is conducive.
However, the ongoing Zoom based events are continuing, including the Three Year Dzogchen Course for the International
Drub-dhe, as an alternative to Yar-tsham. This Dzogchen Teaching is mainly based on ZHANG ZHUNG NYEN GYUD.
The course is restricted to ONLY those who have received Dzogchen Ngondro and Ngozhi teachings, as per Ku-soom Ling
Drub-dra international's curriculum.

TYBSC announces continuing Zoom Nyamlen and Teachings for KUSOOM LING INTERNATIONAL DRUBDRA
"Now through Zoom, TYBSC’s spiritual director Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche is continuing to give regular Men-Ngak during weekly
and monthly nyamlen sessions, along with the ongoing Dzogchen three year course. Rinpoche is also providing the continuing

Note that TYBSC provides the public nyamlen (every Wednesday and 1st Sunday of each month) FREE as a courtesy of the Charity.

In May of 2019, His Holiness the 34th, Menri Trizin Lungtok Dawa Dhargye Rinpoche visited the TYBSC in London.
His Holiness and three of his attendants toured Yungdrung Bon centres
based in Europe, USA, Canada and Mexico. Whilst at the Tibetan Yungdrung Bon Study Centre, U.K, His Holiness bestowing
SHERAB MAWAI SENGHE (Wisdom Deity) Empowerment. This particular empowerment was purposefully requested by
TYBSC’s spiritual director Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche."
Ponlop Trinley Nyima Rinpoche visited in April
Ponlob Trinley Nyima Rinpoche of Menri Monastery came on 9th of April 2019
TYBSC’s Spiritual Director Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche suggested to the Ponlob to give a Dzogchen teaching (Aa-Trid
Dzogchen).
The non-residential teaching ran for 5 days.

This is also to update you on the BONPO GONPA known as “Kusoom Lhundrub Ling” at New Barnet which was formally
acquired on 4th, March 2013 by TYBSC under the direction of Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche. It is now called Gonpa since the
installation of the Buddha statue, from Lhakhang as initially named. Although the Gonpa did not grown in size on a
conventional level but on a spiritual level it has grown boundlessly since the successful installation of the statue
of the JOWO TONPA SHENRAB, in the best possible authentic method & wisdom way including its RAB-NEY-consecration,
based on Yungdrung Bon Buddhism of Zhang Zhung and Tibet. Thus the Gonpa forms the complete spiritual essence of
Zhang Zhung and Tibet—a little TIBET at your door step!!! Therefore, we have created a most profound Holy-Pilgrimage site
at your door step and Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche strongly suggests that every human being should take advantage of this,
regardless of one’s believed faith, to come for pilgrimage. Pilgrimage or NEY-KOR’s concept is to purify one’s kar-mic
sins which have been accumulated during one’s many past life times, in one’s present life and one’s future lives, through
various negative actions such as killing, stealing, sexual misconducts, lying, causing frictions, idle gossips,
negative intentions, evil thoughts, repudiation of enlightened teachings etc.
One can make sincere CONFESSIONS in front of the Buddha Tonpa Shenrab who is lively there in the GONPA with HIS
indiscriminate Love and Compassion. The London Jowo Tonpa Shenrab, as Rinpoche also calls the statue, is ever ready
to FORGIVE you if you sincerely confess all your kar-mic sins and PROMISE not to repeat such actions again from now
on and the possibility of being forgiven is in the horizon of BUDDHA TONPA SHENRAB!!! There will be no cost at all
to come for the PILGRIMAGE. Traditionally, one can make offerings or bring organic butter which will be offered in
front of your London Jowo as shown here in your and your family’s name (both living and dead). It’so simple to do
yet has GREAT BENEFIT!
Such an authenticity is lacking in almost everyone’s life. Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche intentionally created the Gonpa
and the statue keeping in mind that people have nothing other than bubble-like lives and are lacking such an opportunity!
Nobody should die without purifying one’s karmic sins here and NOW! Students in UK, Europe and USA should encourage
anyone to come and organise such NEY-KORS, which is again an act of compassion.
Back in the 2013 News update, we have mentioned that the NEWLY ACQUIRED Lhakhang/Gonpa is a stepping stone for a retreat centre.
As it’s fifth year is approaching, TYBSC under its directorship of Khyimsar Lama Rinpoche, looked and searched various
lands & properties and were able to find a number of suitable retreat centres in the Lake District and Wiltshire areas, etc.
However, due to lack of funds, we could not proceed further.

confirmed as elected today, Monday the 1st day of the New Year 2018.
His name is Lungtok Dawa Dargye Rinpoche!
Just so that you know, the long process is not like election by humans but is spiritually chosen by
“Kyab-ney Yul-chhok Ney-zhi, (The Four Sublime Refuge Objects) particularly by Bon-kyong Soong-ma, the Yungdrung Bon’s
protectors, including Ma-Chhok Sid-pa Gyalmo, Mi-Dhud Jam-pa Trak-gho and Drak-tsen, Or Ma Dhud Tsen soom!
